How Did We get Started Offering concierge services in the Hilton Head area?

Sometimes I don’t know why we waited so long to start the business. In 1998 I was working in an office building on Office Park Road just down the street from where the Courtyard Building is. In fact, my office is not even their any more. It was knocked down and replaced by The University of South Carolina at 21 College Center Drive.

Any way, the next office over there was an Attorney who’s husband had a home watch company. It was then I realized what a great business it would be to offer concierge services on Hilton Head, Bluffton, Okatie, etc. This was even before Palmetto Bluff and the Cross Island Parkway was finished. I was much younger, in my early 20’s, and I didn’t think a homeowner in Long Cove, Indigo Run, Hilton Head Plantation, etc would trust a young guy with their property.

However, I was wrong and should have started right their. The reason? Most of the guys offering concierge services on Hilton Head are just out to make a quick buck. Just because you made a restaurant reservation at Hudson’s and scored a nice view, all of a sudden they think they are a high class concierge. It takes more than that I can assure you!
